In Pursuit of Jesus Mission, Values and Vision Statement

It is the mission of In Pursuit of Jesus to:

  1. Use digital communications to equip Christians to carry out our covenant responsibilities with biblical integrity in everyday life.

  2. Challenge the faith of cultural Christians, engage those who have wondered from the faith, re-evangelize the church and equip others to do the same.

  3. Be an online resource that develops leaders at home, at work and in the church.

Why has IPJ chosen these three things to be our mission?

  1.  1 John 2:6 says: “The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.” NASB (emphasis added).

    To abide in Christ is to follow His example of a life obedient to the will of God.

    Colossians 2:6-7: “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed and overflowing with gratitude.” NASB (emphasis added).

  2. 1 Timothy 6:20-21 says: “…and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge” which some have professed and wandered from the faith.” NIV (emphasis added).

    Jude 1: 22-23a: “And have mercy on some who are doubting; save others, snatching them out of the fire…” NASB (emphasis added).

    2 Timothy 2:2: “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” NASB (emphasis added).

IPJ Values Statement 

These values define the core priorities in our culture at IPJ

1.     IPJ values biblical integrity in our lives, in our teaching and in our administration of this ministry.

2.     IPJ values Scripture as God’s final authority for life and doctrine.

3.     IPJ values digital communications as our sphere of influence.

4.     IPJ values equipping others to carry out their covenant responsibilities right where the Holy Spirit has placed them with an attitude of gratitude.

5.     IPJ values partnering with like-minded ministries and persons to provide depth and breadth for all who come to us for encouragement and education.

  

IPJ Vision Statement 

Using the sphere of digital communications, In Pursuit of Jesus envisions bringing joy to the church by igniting passion for the pursuit of Jesus, challenging the faith of cultural Christians, engaging those who have wandered from the church and equipping all Christians to fulfill their covenant responsibilities.
